Oani Marine Waste Regeneration Coaster
Along our journey, we collect fragments once forgotten by the ocean—
to understand them anew, and to let them be seen again.
Each act of regeneration is a response to the sea,
where waste no longer marks an end, but the start of a new cycle.

Oani is more than a hotel—it is a tranquil oasis.
Every traveler is like a drifting seed, finding belonging, taking root, and transforming.
This rhythm of returning to oneself echoes the spirit of Reborn Manufacturing:
to let what was once discarded be gently received by the world again.

Reborne begins with marine waste, bringing forgotten materials back into daily life.
Oani welcomes each guest with subtle grace—shedding the weight of the everyday,
inviting them to slow down, breathe, and quietly reconnect with themselves.
Inspired by this philosophy, we infused the calm spirit of Ripple into our design,
reshaping ocean waste into a coaster that embodies flow and return,
extending the warmth of the ocean’s renewal into the traveler’s palm.
The form takes after a pebble—smooth, grounded, and organic—
symbolizing the stillness found amid movement.
Every curve is shaped like a shoreline softened by waves,
gentle yet resolute, reflecting the strength of time and nature.
Crafted from marine recycled board, the piece is precisely refined to a 5mm thickness through CNC machining.
The edges are trimmed 3mm inward and recessed by 2mm to create delicate depth,
while the central Oani logo is carved into the surface,
preserving the material’s natural texture and warmth.
Through each process, the spirit of sustainability is embodied in both design and craft.

A total of 2.268 kilograms of ocean waste were reborn through this work—
transforming recovered marine plastics into new material.
More than a functional object, it is a story of coexistence:
a quiet continuation of the ocean’s renewal, flowing gently through the traveler’s touch.
